Greetings, New Music for Olds fans and tolerators. If you did a Christmas thing, I hope it was sufficiently festive.

Due to should-have-been-foreseen circumstances, the 2023 NMFO Holiday Listacular will be a few days late. I apologize if this interferes with any reading parties or general NMFO-based celebrations you’d scheduled for this afternoon.

I perhaps overestimated how much time (and mental energy) I would have with my dad in town for five days. It was…a lot. But with me dear ol’ pa now safely deposited into the loving embrace of Laguardia Airport, I can turn my attentions to 2023’s latest-arriving yearly roundup. In fact, I’m going to quit typing now so I can get to work on those sweet, sweet lists.
