In the words of Jason Dean, greetings and salutations. ‘Tis time once again for your Paid-Only edition of New Music for Olds!
Hope you had a fine holiday weekend. In honor of America’s Labor movement, NEW MUSIC FOR OLDS is forming a union. In order to avoid a work stoppage, the bosses (me) will provide workers (also me) twice-hourly bathroom breaks to sit on the toilet and scroll Twitter and do Wordle and stuff. THIS IS NON-NEGOTIABLE.
On today’s agenda:
The redemption of Piscopo
I pretend to have have heard of the Yolngu people
Music made for last call
Back to school motivation
and the poetry of Douglas C. Neidermeyer
There’s the bell, kids. Let’s all find our seats, okay?
