I am finally catching up on last month's newsletters, so I'm embarrassingly late posting but had to say that I really loved the Destrange album but it is 100% only because Aggretsuko has rewired my brain so now I find all of that kind of music adorable and sweetly cathartic.

I've never seen it. Just watched the trailer and it sees kinda charming. I'll give it a whirl!

Oh I hope you enjoy at least one early episode! (There’s less songs, more soapy plot lines as it goes.) For real though death metal = cute to me now. I found the more recent Brian Eno song much more upsetting(?) and way harder to get thru than that whole Destrage album (which I downloaded!!)

Please PLEASE keep posting the Glossary of Terms. My visceral reaction to “A Commercial Break That Lasts Forever” was mild compared to the cat. She was still shudder-shivering half an hour later.

The music video for "Italian Boi" was waaaaay better than the other song. A little disappointed that I didn't get the seizure promised at the beginning of the video though.

Yeah, I can see feeling that way. It’s certainly catchier. I go back-and-forth. This was just my slick way of including two songs!

In Canuckland, I got out of school at 3:30 and raced home for 4pm Video Hits with Samantha Taylor to see which 4 or 5 music video's made the 30 minute cut, and praying it would be dangerous like Prince, and not Huey Lewis. This is Pre-MuchMusic which had some pretty hardcore VJ talent, actually. I will play My Coco for the 1000th time, damn you, and wait for your story conclusion.

Everything I've seen on Much Music makes me believe it's what I wish MTV had been.
