Definitely appreciate your connecting the dots on Talking Heads and Tune-Yards. I’ve always had at least 12% more than average attraction to Tune-Yards for some reason.

Also, thanks for turning me on to Moonchild. This New Music for Olds thing is already working precisely as I’d hoped! *rubs hands together with an evil chuckle for some reason

It's funny this came up today because all week I've been thinking about Bernard and Elizabeth Rubble - Frederick and Wilhelmina Flintstones' neighbors.

Dammit, Finnegan! You're gonna make me buy even more new vinyl than I'd planned on buying. So, thanks for everything.

The David Clark Quintet seems like the band they call in last minute when the scheduled headliner bails--like Al Roker on Letterman.

Couple things:

1. Really want a newsletter of just old, terrible pics of you (that Tibetan smoking hat pic is amazing)

2. David Byrne did a song with De La Soul on their last album called "Snoopies" if you're interested.

3. I always found "Mike Jordan" to be hilarious when referring to Michael Jordan.

4. Great job keep it up 👏👏👏

fun read!

quick question (that will only seem like a real question and is actually a joke question):

are fans of the talking heads called talk-heads? or head-heads? or talk-talks?

thank you.

can this be what your substack is all about now, christian?

thank you for indulging! i do also enjoy your content, in additional to this absurd, unrelated fun.
